The georgian Bay Marinas Passport

Collect your GeorgianBayMarinas.ca Passport at the office of any participating marina! 

Visit Hindson Marina, Big Sound Marina, Killbear Marina, and Wright’s / St. Amant’s Marina as you travel the east side of Georgian Bay, earning a stamp at each stop and unlocking transient savings on your next marina visit. 

There are exciting prizes to be won, including a $1,000 grand prize, $600 off gas for second prize, and a merchandise prize pack for third prize. Prizes will be awarded by draw at the end of the year.

The Georgian Bay Passport was created to inspire boaters to explore the stunning east side of Georgian Bay, with an exciting route that begins at Hindson Marina, continues through Big Sound Marina and Killbear Marina in Parry Sound, and carries on to Britt and Wright’s / St. Amant’s Marinas.

As boaters make their way along the route, they’ll collect a custom stamp at each participating marina, helping them unlock special savings and discover even more along the way. The order of travel does not matter, so boaters can begin their journey wherever it suits them best.

There can only be one passport per boat and the boating information on page 1 must be completed before a stamp can be issued. All stamps must be collected and entered within the same calendar year. A new passport will be issued each boating season, and any stamps from the previous year will no longer be valid once the new year begins on January 1.

Each stamp earns the boater a percentage off transient dockage at their next participating marina stop — not at the marina where the stamp was received. For example, if a boater receives a stamp at Hindson Marina, that stamp will be applied toward a discount at their next participating marina visit. 

This same structure applies at every stop along the passport route, except at Big Sound Marina, boaters will still receive their passport stamp, but instead of a transient dockage discount, they’ll enjoy a free pump-out. That stamp will still count toward the next eligible marina stop..

A special fifth stamp may also be earned through select events such as the Norfolk AGLCA Rendezvous or the Toronto International Boat Show.

Passport discounts cannot be combined with any other marina promotions or offers, so the customer must choose the option that works best for them. A maximum of five nights is eligible per passport transient discount at participating marinas. AGLCA members are still able to redeem their fuel discount and free lift out.

To enter the prize draw, boaters simply need to receive their stamp, post a photo of their passport on Facebook, tag the marina they’re visiting, and use #GBAYPassport. Each post counts as one entry, and participants may enter up to five times by completing this process at different marinas or event locations during the same year.
